Banana Bread

Banana bread is an excellent addition to your morning or afternoon tea. It is light, healthy and delicious.

Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
6 medium size overripe bananas
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Tips:
– The bread batter is thicker than normal cake batter. If you wish to loosen your batter a bit you can add a little bit of milk “approx. 2 tablespoons”.
– The more overripe the bananas are the better. Look for bananas with dark spots on the outside.
– Make sure that the butter and eggs are at room temperature before using.
–  If you wish you can add any nuts or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg to this basic recipe.
